My wife is the smartiest
« on: January, 23, 2012, 05:28:43 PM »
Had some trouble with my 42 inch HDTV, all of a sudden the TV shows High Def, great picture, but no sound. Called Direct TV and they sent a tech to the house, he tried everyway possible to get the TV to recognize the HDMI cable to no avail. The TV will only get pic and sound through the regular video port. The tech says it's the TV. I call the manufacturer and of course my 1 year warranty is one month past a year. My wife decides to check the credit card we used to buy it and low and behold VISA extends the manufacturers warranty another year. She calls VISA and yes it's true, they are sending us a claim form and will reimburse us for the repairs or replace the TV if it is warranted for no cost to us. She is the smartiest person I know.. :bowdown

.....and when the tech showed up at the house he went to the onscreen menu and turned the internal speakers back on that a certain fixer turned off as a joke the weekend before.....

Get a drink, sit on the couch, watch the golfers go by, and turn on the radio. To hell with the TV!
