66 suspension ?
« on: May, 06, 2009, 01:23:12 PM »
Might be a dumb question....on my 66 what suspension setup do I want to get rid of my strut rods? More curious than anything. Would the mustang2 setup be the one? Thanks

I beleive the Heidts, FatMan Fabrication and the Mustang II are all basically the same. Dave has something similar on his 66', check out his gallery pics.

Go to mini-sub frame kits.  Keep your towers but get rid of the strut rods.  Good price too.

Ryan and Rick,
Thanks for the links and info...that is a nice setup and fits in my budget perfectly. I am going to buy but it will be years and years before this baby sees road time so dont hold your breath. I already have roller uper arms so I think I will just buy the 389 basic kit.
