My favorite! Great to bring to work and gross people out.
I've had them several places in the Southeast. The most unique was from Popcorn Sutton's stand. RIP. He boiled 'em in a huge pot over a roaring wood fire. No crock pot or stove top.
Best I can do here in Illinois is bring some canned ones back from down south, and they suck!
