While driving along my wife (passenger) decides to use my cel to google something. Yeah no problem I said.

We get to our destination to do some shopping I decide to get onto StangFix while she's trying on some clothes and WTF! My Tapatalk ap is gone! Of course after I called my lawyer to start the filing of divorce papers, I asked her why did she deleted it. Of course here came total denial. Lucky I was able to download Tapatalk again so I can entertain you lowlifes again.

Of course the cool part about our outing is that she wanted me to come along with her but I really didn't want to tag along while ahe looked for a new jacket. Well guess what the shopping scorecard was at the end of the day? Awesome me...4 shirts & 2 jackets. Wife...nada

My smart phone posts direct....just like from the laptop....I just go on line, pull up stangfix and post......no tapatalk....another thing that the phone has over me.....

I can post online on my HTC too, but tapatalk is just quicker. Only thing I dont like about tapatalk is I can't use the smileys stuff.

Yes, if you don't have tapatalk you can still log onto SF, but with tapatalk, it minimizes a lot of crap such as shoutbox, etc so you only have the basic forums. It allows you to simply log in and post your replies without the typical crap of logging into a forum with a phone. You can also download pics directly from your phone. If I had to log onto SF via my phone the same way I do with my PC or laptop, I would not bother.

Try it, you'll love it.

I have the page on my phone direct to the one I want....no log in after first time...same as my laptop. It all works like the computer.....just slower typing simply because it is a phone but not a big deal. I bookmark all my sites so there is not a constant need to log in....be it the cell or laptop. I almost forget the log in info....

OK, going to compare Tapatalk vs a PC. When I use Tapatalk, all I initially see is only the listing of all the forums. No header, no footer, no shoutbox or anything on the left side (who's currently on, new members, etc). All I get is the forums.

But, seeing the full forum on the cell, don't you need to zoom in to whereever you want to go? Tapatalk elimates all the fluff and only gives you the basics. Just used the cel phone without using Tapatalk and OMG that is so slow.....

Its seems the direct benefit is that you get to upload pics directly to the forum. Currently i have to mail to my computer, or load my sd card.

My cell is 3G......pretty fast. Yes, I zoom in but I think I would still have to use zoom in either mode. Once I zoom, all the fluff is out of the way.

Never tried pics from the cell.

problem i have, is i have yet to pay for an app. Im not sure i want to go down that road. The cell companies already get enough money.

I was the one who asked Randy to install Tapatalk on stangfix. As Craig says it makes everything streamlined and very well formatted for small screens. It is awesome. Also allows posting pics on the fly.

same here , I use my cellphone .......so i can talk to somebody I want to talk to.
No smartphone , tapatalk , android or whatever !!!!
Beside , the charges of mobil services are way to expensive here to just play with your cellphone.
