...was a 79 Mustang. On December 14, 1978, Ford built its 150 millionth vehicle at the Dearborn Assembly Plant.

probably not, but it you got it & it still had those whitewalls, it could be nominatd for COM under the "tire" regulations for next month. wouldn't hold my breath about winning though...

on another note, the guy who bought my dad's ford dealership back in the mid 70's gave his son one of the 79 pace cars & they put it in the garage & mothballed it. always wondered what happened to it. sure would like to have it now....

ever since I was a kid I dreamed of being able to buy a new Mustang and just hide it away for like 20 or 30 years and then bring out. A pristine 79 pace car would be pretty cool
