That time a year!
« on: November, 21, 2011, 09:00:22 AM »
My husband asked me the other day to give him some ideas of things I would want for Christmas. So I pulled out my stack of mustang catalogs and started highlighting parts. I also told him he could skip buying me presents and just give me a big wad of $$$ and let me get Gert painted. lol

I'm not asking for a lot... just pretty much anything and everything to get her finished.  :steer

Sometimes I bet my husband wishes I was more girly and he could just get jewelry and stuff. Would make his life so much easier (and hurt his wallet less). lol

haha you go girl.

I told my wife the same thing.  I wanted everyone to give me $ that I can put towards either the new wiring harness I NEED or the tilt column I WANT.

I usually ask for things for the Mustang as well but this year we are taking the kids to Disney for Christmas so we decided to spend "our" money on them. But I will still manage to get a something for the Stang!

Married to Tara, that makes me the TARA-fied one!

What, do you think your husband is gay or something?  Buying "jewelry and stuff" for a woman and it being easier on the wallet is about  the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard.

We woke up Sunday morning to a microwave that gave up the ghost. The range got whacked by lightning a few years ago and has never worked right since (had a tech look at it, I worked on it), so we packed up the pup and went to Topeka after searching all available avenues for new appliances. Came back from Lowe's with a new range and over the range microwave. Both for less than $700. Our Christmas shopping is done.

I already know how Christmas will turn out.  My mom will hand us a wad of cash, my dad will hand me a few boxes of ammo, and the lil one will get all the presents.  Then we'll eat till we explode.  Then back home from a 3hr drive, to the in laws, I get work shirts, wife gets more cash, boy gets more stuff.  Then home and sleep. And right back to work on Monday.

Nice ride. At least you'll get to drive it occasionally.

How hard is it to take care of this little issue:
270 kW of power (Maximum figures as per ECE regulations)

That engine can pump a whole lot more out-

Translated from "ole geezer"....

I normally get a lump of coal (gift not worth while) at this time of year..(relates to this thread)..but I like the white elephant gifts better...(from the WE gift exchange thread)
