WOW....this guy is on a golf cart site I am on. Walked away and is sore. Happened Sat. and ended his pro racing career. Not sure how fast the car was......but it was quick.

Scary ride! After watching the in-car shots all I can say is big kudos to the safety team. They had foam on the car in less than 30 secs after it shut down!

Unfortunately, that's the way a lot of racing careers end. The safety guys appear to have done a heck of a job in this case though.

Growing up the guy that lived next door had been a drag strip guy in his younger days.

Not too long before he was going to marry his wife, his partner was driving their car in the quarter. Something went wrong and his partner hit the wall in a ball of fire.

After the wreck caused the death of his partner, his wife basically said it was racing or her. Since by the time I knew them the wife had put on a few hundred pounds I'd have to wonder if he ever regretted getting out of racing.

"not hurt too bad
cracked tailbone,small liver contusion,bruised ribs and some slight face and neck burns. No insurance, figured arouns a 100k loss with selling the good pieces. Have to think God was riding shotgun cause if you see what happened to she seatbelt i was close to taking a dirt nap. Really makes you think"
