System issues?
« on: October, 17, 2011, 12:55:25 PM »
68EFIvert shouted that he cannot PM or post.  I said Phift! and so I tried to PM him but nothing appears in the sent folder.  Anyone else having a PM issue (no, not the girly kind !).

Nothing will be in your sent folder unless you check save a copy to my inbox before sending a PM or have it enabled by default in you profile

I've always had "keep a copy of sent PM's in your PM file" checked but just checked and it wasn't checked off.

I guess I better quit pickin dem shrooms off of windy hill's north side.  Maybe a little too tart for my mind.

I can reply or post via tapatalk on my phone but cannot do anything on the net.  The reply box is just tan and I can't type in it.  So who did I piss off?  LOL!

I think I figured out my problem.  The web page is really really really really wide and I have to scroll over to find the area to post.  Is there something wrong with my browser.  It is this way at home and work.  Has been like that all weekend maybe for a bit longer.  Any suggestion to make the page narrower?

I've had problems PMing using Tapatalk.  The messages never get sent.  No biggie though, works like a champ on the PC.

Flush your cache or hit Shift-recycle to force the page to renew.

How do you do a Shift-Recycle?  I cleaned the cache and it did not do anything.

I am not sure what you mean by new theme.  I still can't figure out what is going on.  It is doing the same thing at work and home.  The reply box seems to be miles wide.  I have to search forever to find where I can type and even longer to find the submit icon.

Several of us were having that issue last week. Had to go into the forum setup on our own units and change the theme based on changes that the site owner made on an update.

I've looked all over and can't find the forum setup to change the theme.  Where do I go to make that change?  Sorry about this.  I know nothing about websites.

I changed the setting to all the different themes and had the same problem on each.  I am about ready to start a new profile to see if that helps.

Have Sluggo or Steve give it a look before you do anything drastic.

I'm not sure what else to suggest. Everyone else seems to be ok since the new theme was built.

At this point the only thing I can offer is to use Google Chrome or Firefox.

Any other changes I make are going to affect the masses.

That sucks.  I have to use IE for my work programs to operate.  Looks like I'm screwed with this one.
