Mustang crash at Bathurst
« on: October, 10, 2011, 11:08:09 PM »
Last weekend was the Bathurst 1000 - "The Great Race" in OZ.
A part of it is the Muscle Car Masters, Mustangs, Camaro's, GT Falcons, Monaros, Chargers, Sprints & some Dago cars that are allowed to race because of their age.
There are more entries in these races than in the main Touring Car race.
Here is race 3 - 7 laps & 19 minutes long.
The 68 mustang gets cleaned up at 18 minutes and then there is a minute 40 seconds of detailed playback.
Great race, nasty smash

Ouch!!! Nothing that cant be fixed though...

Great race, I watched most of the 1000 and thought how cool it would be to see the old muscle out there.

No they dont have to be converted. See the white Falcon Sprint and then the Mustang at 9 minutes are still LHD.
There are stacks of Muscle Car Masters races on Youtube, as there is a whole race program for them.
It is getting more popular than the V8 supercars, probably because they are real cars that you could buy off the showroom floor.
