FTR CFR sells that in a lot of different colors...including alum. and black.

You can go on their website if it's not in their ebay store, though, for some ungodly reason they charge a lot more via their website.

Yeah I saw this one first and really liked it, but then I saw the anodized blue... maybe a little of both? Or just go with all machined aluminum?

Since it turns out my engine parts aren't going to be powder coated like I thought they were going to be... I'm trying to think of other things to do to make people go "oooooo....aaaahhhhhh" when I open the hood. lol

Easy fix...repaint your block blue.   :yah

Those look like March Performance pulley knock offs.  I have the same alternator bracket on my car.  I don't have ps, so I just have an idler pulley on the other side. Sorry for the crappy pic.

Remember......bare aluminum is a lot harder to keep up on a driver vs painted items.

Too much blue bling in the engine bay? lol  :confu
To each his/her own... But IMO either go all the way or not at all. Nothing looks worse than a half-assed attempt. ( like mine )

I have all the same brackets on my car. Only the PS pulleys from CFR tho. I got the other stuff from a couple different places but if I knew this kit exist i just would of bought this, not in blue tho. Alum or black finish. Note to self the PS pulley is a B*#@h to put on. Just went thru the whole process, not fun.

I made the mistake of putting the pulley on with the bracket off, brain fart, bracket needed to be on first. So I when I went to use the PS pulley remover the tabs the remover grabs started to crack in the removal process, I just sent it back to be replaced since it has a lifetime warranty. They dont seem to be easy to install and or remove.

Definitely not blue.  I would get the bare aluminum ones and then have them clear powdercoated so you never have to polish them.

BTW Kat, it looks like we're going to do a custom show quality paint job on the blue vette convertible you sold a month or so ago!

I would have them powder coated, but Wade's gun is broke so he can't do any PCing. That's why I went and picked up my parts from him after having them 6 months. Got tired of waiting and was getting too close to my Oct 8th deadline. If I get the bare aluminum set, I'll have to find someone else to PC them.

LOL @ the vette. That's good it's getting a new paint job. Did the new owner pick out a color yet?  Oh and it also needs serious detailing inside.  :nut

Kat,

Dan (danno66gt) powder coats in his spare time. He did my Canton oil pan for me and it looks awesome! You would have to mail it to Kansas though.

Sad thing is that it got the corrosion from sitting in the garage. Could be some kind of reaction to the concrete. I could wipe it down and it would look just as bad. So far, the new PC finish looks as good as day one!

Where else would something on your car get corrosion? Rain at the track maybe, or from an engine stand, but that would count as the garage...

The queen could get it in the trailer!

It's only sat in the trailer this summer, normally it sits in the garage....on stands...sans engine.

+ a million

I finally changed my valve covers because the old silver /aluminum ones were a pita to keep clean.  I traded out for the black ones I am running now.

It's really easy to go overboard with the chrome in an engine bay and go from looking nice to looking cheesy but that's just my 2 cents.  A little gives it some "pop" too much and it starts to look tacky.
