My new tires and wheels installed
« on: April, 05, 2009, 08:07:27 PM »
After several weeks of waiting on my new wheel spacer, I was able to install my new wheels. I had to go with longer wheel studs in the rear since I used a 1/2" spacer. The fronts are 1" spacers. One of my last projects were subframe connectors. When I jacked up each front corner, the rear came off the ground as well :naug

Looks good. I like how the plate colors match so well with the car. Nice of Alaska.....

Thanks guys. The white stuff is pure cocaine. When I need new parts I shovel some in a bag and send it south.

The hood is from Rebel Mustang in LaHabra, CA. It is thick and quality made except for the bow it had when I got it. I think the kids were using it for a half pipe. I had to reverse clamp the hood with steel and clamps. Add a lot of heat with a rose bud and kablow. She started to pop and settled half way straight. If I were to do it all over again I'd go with the fiberglass hood with the steel insert on the backside.

Alaska has about 5 different plates. I chose that one because it goes best with my paint scheme.

Those wheels look great on your car!

Have you done all the work on your car... paint, hood, rear deck lid & lights... or did you purchase it that way?  Whatever the case, you have a sweet looking coupe.

I love the wheels and tires. It looks great. That is one real sweet ride. Like the new project too, but if I had to deal with snow still at this time of the year I would kill myself! :mod
