Grease Fittings UCA 1965
« on: August, 22, 2011, 02:59:21 PM »
I want to drill and tap some grease fittings on my 65 UCA, the steel end caps are harder than woodpecker lips but I have a cobalt bit set. Will a tap work on this hard metal?
thanks

Might try sending John (opentracker) an email; http://www.opentrackerracingproducts.com/products/

Haven't experienced the problem myself.

I've tried and it dosn't work, the metal is too hard. I do have some bushings you can have for free that have the zerk hole in them. Send me an email
