Need a little help
« on: April, 09, 2011, 11:08:08 AM »
I need to find the serial number on my motorcraft carb. It is currently installed on the car and I'm pretty sure it needs a rebuild which is why i need the number. Where is it located?
Thanks

If it still has the tag on one of the top screws....that has it on it. If not, is it 2 or 4 bbl...maybe a pic to ID it from.

Looks like a 2100.

Look on the baseplate. you might get lucky and find a part/engineering number.

Alright I'll take a look later I know there's some numbers at the base. Pretty sure those are engineering numbers. One was 12
