Relay question
« on: February, 22, 2009, 09:01:11 AM »
I ordered two relays for the headlights, but the socket has five wires so I'm kinda stumped on which to use since it has an extra wire compared to the diagram Mid linked in a previous post, http://midlife66.com/wiring/halrelays.html

87= yellow
87a= red
85= black
86= white
30= blue

Here is the top of the relay. Comparing it to the link, the red does not get used?

The switch in the relay is normally closed to 87a

leave 87 a out of the circuit.

It does show all five in mid's diagram btw....
