I don't like it on a '67.  It just looks weird on anything earlier than '69.

That's a nice looking car. I really do not like the color though. I had a '65 coupe when I was younger that was painted competition orange. I heard comments regularly that the car was a "Chevy" color.

You should pick up a set of those late model magnums for the TBM

I was looking at those earlier today on ebay. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/17-ION-625-Wheels-66-67-68-69-70-71-72-73-Mustang-_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQhashZitem5643054730QQitemZ370491606832QQptZMotorsQ5fCarQ5fTruckQ5fPartsQ5fAccessories

I am really not a fan of 17" rims on classic Mustangs

They look similar to the Kelsey Hayes. I really like these.

Sorry but the exhaust tips are too big in diameter and protrude out too much.   Even if you stuff the car with a blonde, redhead & brunette, I might have to  pass.

But that might be just me.

Any idea what it ended up selling for/what they were asking for it?

I agree with you on that. The pipes are definitely too large and stick out way too far. I do like the color combo, but otherwise I'm just not a fan. I really don't like how the stripes continue after the chrome strip on the trunk lid. Something about that visually just doesn't jive with me. Don't like the wheels on that car either. And the hood makes me want to  :puk ...

the hood is a look-a-like from those of a pontiac GTO ( I think 72 )
love it on the pontiac but not on a mustang.
Love the scoop from the 67 shelby. :thu

These are very nice wheels.  The problem for me with 17" wheels is that the sidewall of the tire is too small and it looks odd (again to me) on a vintage car. I REALLY wish the manufacturers of these billet 17" versions of factory wheels (Magnums, K-Hs Magstar, etc.) would make billet versions in 15" or 16" so we would have that option instead of just steel.  Not enough market demand apparently...

Nice car, but you all know my thoughts about an orange car.  reduces the value by 1/2....
