Thanks all!It is good to drive the car every couple weeks and I do get lots and lots of comments when I do - people roll down their windows at stop lights and always talk to me at the gas station...So why do I need more motivation? Because it seems that nobody knows the amount of effort involved! Those freakin' stainless trim pieces took me weeks! I've spent the last two days repairing the interior fiberglass of the rear quarters, and I expect to have two more days into them. It seems like at this point I am averaging about 4 days of reconditioning for every 30 minutes of reassembly.Just wanted to share with those that can understand this madness!-Rory
I got most of the glass in (everything except the doors which I do last...) - the stainless was in very rough shape but worked out well and buffed nicely - better than I expected!I got the steering wheel back from the Rimblow Buddy - I think it turned out great - and it certainly makes a big visual difference compared to the temporary standard wheel I had in before. There is a lot of work left, and some of the things currently installed (shifter, seat, etc) are incorrect for the car and are just there so I can drive it and enjoy the car a bit instead of just working on it.Next on my list: the rear interior quarter panels and trap door surround - then the fold down seat.Comment please - keep me motivated!-Rory
