Hi! I had posted about this lift in the Tools section, but felt this worth mentioning here. This is the Maxjax lift that was made for low ceiling garages(or living rooms! lol). my garage is 96" and with my stang on it, leaves about 2.5"s to spare~ Kind of nervy getting it all the way up! It has two levels, 24" and 45" depending on what extensions are used will get it another 4-5" additionally. Most the time I'll be on the lower level ,but nice not to have to use a jack and stands! The lift is "portable", meaning it can be unbolted and rolled out of the way when not in use. I bought it for 1800.oo free shipping to nearest terminal which worked about best for me. The most difficult part was probably drilling the holes in concrete! Just wanted to pass this info along! I sold my motorcycle so I could get this new toy! :( but now I'm : )

Now you can park a Vette under the Stang... Just think of all the work that COULD have been completed in the past. Time for another project.

Yep, I found in research for a regular two post....4" is min. required...but density also plays a part. Many just try and hope for good results.

My floor is real dense concrete, I had to pay more and it is 6" or more. Mostly more, I was here when they poured it and some of the guys were nearly knee deep when they were moving the mud around.

My four post is awesome and has had a car on it in an earthquake. No issues and no it is not bolted down either. This is so that I can move the lift around if I need to. I have the wheel kit as well.

If I had a two post I would have bolted it down for sure.

This one looks great. It is a bit low for my taste, but the ceilings will determine the height of the lift. If I had a standard garage that lift would be in it! Best tool I ever bought, my lift!

I to think I did all the work on the 67 on a creeper and jack stands.

The only regret I have is that I didn't get the 15k pound lift so it wold lift my truck!

Nice lift. By the looks of it, a Pantera would fit under there very nicely.

I'm jealous too, I'll have to keep that on my wish list. Just don't forget and pull in forward or your rear window will make contact with your garage door!

If I ever build a house I'm thinking of having a pit put in one of the stalls, we're on solid rock here in TN so it'd be a real man cave at that point...

Yes, I sure could have used this during the course of working on my mustang! oh well! life will be just a little easier now! I just need a low roll around seat to play with stuff under the car! I was thinking that when we replace the old asphalt leading up to our garage with new concrete(no time soon), I may put some additional holes outside to lift our taller vehicles up to the highest level, including my '57 chevy! I also found some stands that are kind of made for this lift to put at each end of the car when working on it at higher levels~ just to stabilize and give a more sense of safety! Just about everyone that has installed a lift has a sense of fear when working beneath for the few times before getting used to it! Sure is a nice addition to my shop! Now just need to come up with a paint scheme for the garage and eventually an epoxy floor or something nice! ; )
