Professional Photos of my car!
« on: November, 22, 2010, 05:47:45 PM »
SWMBO runs a photography business. She has college degrees and everything. She mostly photographs moms and babies in her portrait business. I finally got her to take some high end shots of my car. I am really pleased with the results. I would not have thought that fall foliage would look cool with a convertible, but I think that it looks cool.

Great pics. This pic is my favorite out of them all.  Oh crap,  I can't figure out how to copy and paste it.  It is the very last pic that you posted.

Man that thing looks stunningly clean. I agree that it looks like an ad for the "new" Mustang. Very nicely done (both the pics and the car!)

Very nice Kevin, where were they taken?

The pics were taken at an office building on the edge of the UTD campus. All of those trees are real, and the colors were also real. That was one of our three days of fall color here in DFW.

Kevin, again I want to complement you not only on your Mustang but the beautiful photography of it. However there is just one little thing that really catches my eye that I find annoying. That would be your license plate. Now I am not saying that you should not mask out the numbers, but what you should have done for the session is either remove the plates or put a temporary plate on in its place. Well with your 3 day window of the color changing trees I am sure that your time has passed. But it is not too late, with some photoshopping skills the plate can be removed or better yet what I like to see is a simple plate with a white background and black letters.  What should it say? 1 9 6 7    :roll

You are absolutely correct, FD. That was a glaring error that we made. One disadvantage of this being my wife's first photoshoot with a car. Since she lives here under my roof, and always does what I say, she will do better next time. She will not make that mistake again sor he will have to deal with my pimp hand. She has agreed will make me a 1967 plate for any pics that we print or use for something important, like playing cards. I will certainly understand if this makes you rethink your plan to nominate me for COTM in the future. Now, stop looking at my pictures and go find some fall themed thong pics...Its thanksgiving, Dammit.
