Moby's Officially An Arizona Car Now
« on: November, 18, 2010, 11:36:50 AM »
I finally had a chance this morning to get my 1971 Mach I registered in Arizona.  Moby's officially a Zonie!  Now I'm working on ideas for personalized plates.  I have a couple of ideas, but need to think on this a bit.

Murphy, 1968 Coupe - Concours, Original Owner
Trouble, 1968 Fastback - Modified
Moby, 1971 Mach I - Occasional Driver

MCA Gold Card Judge, 67-68 Concours; Modified

I just haven't had time to download them.  I'm leaving for a 10-day cruise on Monday and am trying to get everything done at work before then, plus pack.  I'll get them this weekend, for sure.  Plus, I've taken a picture of the trailer parked in the driveway in its new spot.  I did not take a picture of the rain gutter that I tore apart, however.

Are you trying to come up with a name like "trouble" or "murphy", or just trying to nail down a custom plate with the Mach1 theme?

I'd like a custom plate with the Mach I theme, but haven't found one yet that's available in Arizona.  We can use seven letters/numbers.  I'm not sure I want to use "Moby" in the plate so I'll keep making a list for now.

I've neer been great at this, but here's what I thought up over coffee:

MACH1
MACHONE
MY MACH
MACH 01
71 MACH
MACH V8
71 FUN
V8ACLR8
MOBYFUN
MOBYONE
MOBY 71
MACH 71
71 351C
351MACH
71SONIC
SHOKWAV
M 1
M ONE

Here's your dictionary definition: sonic speed; Mach number; Mach , Mach one, Mach two, speed of sound

I assumed the car was 351C auto.   Where was it built? San Hose?

Oh, cool!  I'll try some of those and see what's available.  It's a 351C out of Dearborn.  I think I can get some pictures posted tonight.  Been running around like crazy trying to get work caught up before I leave on a 10-day cruise on Monday.
