Calanders for the COTM cars?
« on: November, 13, 2010, 07:37:46 PM »
Would anyone be interested in buying a calendar with the COTM cars for the last year on them?

The cost would be $15 plus shipping to you....This includes $4-5 to the fix for maintenance costs.

These are wall calendars and would have the COTM for each Month on it and somewhere I would work in Scary.

Mel

Yup for me as well.  Regarding Scary, the cover could have mini pics of each COTM and  maybe there you can put Scary on top or on the bottom of the cover.

Know what would have been cool... have the front cover all black with the StangFix logo right in the center but then I realized might not be able to use the StangFix logo anywhere on the calendar due to copyright to Ford.  :shrug Usually if it's for personal/non profit use there are no problems, but since folks would be buying the calendars, well might be an issue.

A collage of mustangs would be cool though!  :thu

Heck..why stop at just calendars? Stagfix could set up it's own little store at some site like Cafe Press...t-shirts, coffee mugs, mouse pads, magnets, coasters....you name it.

OK, now the question is how many calendars should I get printed?  20 or 100?

Or Scary in the middle surrounded by smaller pictures of the COTM's.  Didn't Scary win COTM once this year?

Mel,
Who are you using?  Is there a website?   Are there samples to see what theirs look like?  from previous jobs?  With so many sites claiming they can do calendars, I'm concerned with quality.

You originally said $14-$15 + shipping which $4-5 goes to stangfix?  Would all of them be shipped to one address and then be distributed to all?

I found them on Vistaprint, but if there was enough interest I was going to get some quotes.  Looks like there is interest, so off to the quotes.  If you have a good source you trust, I am ok with going there.

It was just an idea I had while looking for playing card suppliers.

Oh, I have used Vistaprint for my brochures and they are pretty nice.  I have to find out how to send them the pics and all, but that shouldn't take more than a day to do.

I will not accept crap if that is the concern.

I think I would be interested too. If you need help with anything, let me know. I do graphic design work for a living.
