How do I adjust the height of the brake pedal in the fastback? It has a Granada disk brake conversion, but height and firmness of the pedal is nothing like the coupe with the SSBC kit. Do I adjust the master cylinder push rod, or adjust the rear brakes, or both? It doesn’t feel like they need to be bled, just that braking doesn’t start until the pedal much closer to the floor than I like.

If you have an adj prop rod, you can take up all the slack available, but be careful so it is NOT applying any pressure at rest. Adjust the rear brakes so they have just a little bit of drag.

What I had to do with mine so I could heel & toe was to add spacers under my pedal cover till I got it just right.

Thanks! I took a little out today with the rod, but I think I'll get everything I can there. Tomorrow I'll adjust the rear brakes.

How are you on hurst shifters?

What's wrong with your shifter? I had to tear mine apart, clean, lube, and reassemble it before I could even use it, so I'm fairly familiar with the inner workings.

Pulled out of the garage in reverse, and was unable to shift out of it. I had to disengage with the linkage. I've also noticed I have a harder time shifting into 2nd, than the other gears. I know the linkage was adjusted, but now I'm convinced there something going on in the shifter assembly or at least the linkage attachment points. I intent to install one of the bushing rebuild kits, but wonder if it's worth taking apart and cleaning first.

Any advice or hints would be greatly appreciated.

If only it were... Based on pictures I posted here, the guess is a Borg-Warner T10.

If it's just the stock linkages then try adjusting them and see if it helps. If it's the Hurst linkage, you put them all in neutral and slip the alignment rod in the holes to adjust.

It's a lot easier to adjust it if it's out of the car!

FYI, I still have my T10 and stock linkage.
