'67 blower motor resistor question

Besides the plastic rivets, is there anything else used to seal the resistor mounted in the heater box?  I took everything apart to clean it up a while back and now that I am putting everything together I don't remember if there was a seal or anything else between the resistor and the heater box.  Any help would be greatly appreciated!
