Boss Painted!
« on: June, 30, 2010, 04:16:54 PM »
Couple of teaser pics. Finished spraying at 2:36 AM this morning.  Took pics but they all sucked.

I'll get some better ones tomorrow.

There were several more of you in standing mode. I just picked the one where it might appear something was going on.

69 boss cars didn't have the scoops in the qtrs. would have been cool to use them as functioning brake cooling ducts though.

To be more accurate ... the '69 Boss 302 didn't get quarter scoops.  The '69 Boss 429 did, for some bizarre reason.

yes, wasn't even thinking about the 429 cars. too many paint fumes this weekend i guess... maybe since ford built the 302's but delivered bodies to kar kraft for the modification/assembly of the 429's was why they had the stock scoops installed?

Thought we went over this already........it's a 6 banger throwdown rear just to make it a roller. The caster up front is not original either :craz

Not my plan. I would have preferred to use 69 fenders with 69 buckets (or repops even) as opposed to 70 fenders with 69 buckets welded into them and patched up marker holes.

P.S. Ever seen a 69 Boss 302 before?

yep, I knew about the scoops on a 69 Boss 302. Always wondered why Ford did that... I didn't know they came with 4 lug rear-end's and caster front wheels though (JK Sluggo!)
