So I'm almost working on a Mustang.  The '64 Cyclone has a single chamber M/C and a booster.  They don't repro master cylinders for this thing that look and hook up as stock, so I had the original sleeved.  But I am a simpleton and they didn't send me instructions for bench bleeding the M/C.  I have replaced several dual chamber M/C and am familiar with bench bleeding those--is this about the same?  I don't have any plugs to install like they send along with the new 2-chambers ones I buy from NPD.

Yup...still need to bench bleed it.  You can route plastic hose lines from the fittings back into the chamber if you want.

You can get the bench bleeder kit at most auto parts store.  You'll simply use half the kit, since it will be for a 2 reservoir MC.  The procedure is exactly the same as a dual reservoir MC.

I found some stuff in the garage from a new M/C I bought for a different project.  Bleeding this one was a piece of cake!  The booster is back in and the M/C is installed.  Now I just need to replace a few wheel cylinders and pack some bearings and (hopefully) it'll be on the road again...

Thanks! :vic

BTW, you do realize that there are no stupid questions, right?  Only stupid answers.

The only stupid questions are the ones that you don't ask.
