95 Crown Vic 9 inch rear end

I have a lead on a 9 inch rear in out of a 1995 crown vic police interceptor. I haven't had much luck looking online to see if this can be cut down to fit a 68 mustang. It has rear disk breaks on it and I was wondering what it would take to keep the rear disks on the mustang?

95 Crown Vic's came with 8.8 inch rear ends, not 9 inch. Totally different design.

I have seen the 8.8 installed in Mustangs.  I am sure there are a bunch of mods that need to be done, but I am sure it could be done.

Yeah, that's what I found as well. The guy selling it is saying it's a 9", I'm waiting on him to send me the ID tag info.
