Im putting a pertronix unit in my 69 with an msd blaster 2 coil. Are the II and III worth the extra $? Do they offer a lot more spark? Not sure If I need the rev limiter since I have an auto.

Ok, well I went with the III. For the little extra $ I thought it was worth it and I got it for $105. So I have another question. I see that the stock points system has 1 wire going to the coil, and the coil has another wire going to a harness in the firewall. The instructions I read say the ignitor has 2 wires coming from it, both go to the coil. I will be using a msd coil. Do I just hook up the neg from the ignitor to the neg on the coil and then the pos to the coil and use the other wire from the firewall on the positive side of the coil?

Check with Pertronix to see if that coil is compatible. If it's not, you'll need to run a ballast resistor between, or you'll fry the Pertronix in about 10 minutes ... been there, done that, got the t-shirt.
