I drove my car today!!!  It is now at the exhaust shop getting some tweaking done due to the header fitment on the new heads.  Spent all day Saturday with a few issues that were luckily resolved.  A bent rocker stud that didn't make me happy, ds header not wanting to fit properly, etc but we got it cranked Sat. night.  Bled the brakes y'day and took her out today.  She ran good but I've got to do a little more adjusting on the a/f.  Hopefully she'll get a bath this afternoon and I'll post up some pics of this PIA actually out.  Now I just have to make it longer than a month.  BTW, the battery is tied down with a bungee cord right now until I can get my strap mounted like I want.  I know a few of you were wondering.


Here's a few pics.  I've still got some cleaning up of the engine bay but for now the wires and stuff are on and working.  Will dress back up later.

Yep.  Probably got dropped during shipping.  I was contemplating sending 'em back but after all I'd been through I wanted to work on the car.  First option was to straighten it, second was to pull studs out of old heads.  The straightening worked like a charm.  Only needed about an eigth of an inch.  Milestone???  That stone had been rolling downhill for a loooooooong time.  I just hope I've stopped it.

Glare from the sun.  Torque Thrust D wheels.  The front is the "color".  The rear has the glare from the sun.  No wait, I rotated them after the battery incident so the rears must've gotten splashed when they were on the front.  Yeah, that's it.
