I bought these Centerlines a while back from one our cool members (Mustang67408), or I'd prefer to call him Victor! Finally got around to going to a local Competition sales and bought some tires! These are some really nice Centerlines and should get some thumbs up

from folks at the Nifty50ee's this upcoming weekend! Of course if I become weary of these wheels, I can revert back to my Cragars! oh what's a woman to do!! lol I must say the stang handles really a lot differently than with the TA's, I think it even takes the bumps better for some reason! I do need to eventually roll the fenders on the rear, not too bad if I'm careful, but Gary hasn't ridden in the car yet either, but my stang does sit a little higher on the right! I can probably swap wheels within, say, 30minutes or less! Vrrrooom! Don't worry, I'll wash the letters off soon! and don't say ANYTHING about the white letter being out! my brother can't stand the white letters! lol

I could have sworn I wrote a response~ where did it go!
Anyway, Thank you all for the nice compliments! I'm kind of looking for a neat storage for my extra tires due to ever diminishing floor space. The link below looks like a logical remedy at a reasonable price. I have a folding ramp to roll the tires up to it~ I just don't have the umph to lift tires/wheels~ I'm amazed how much a tire/wheel weighs!

Nice storage idea.

Just go out and bat your eyes at a passing male and Bam it will be done! Give him a beer and send him on his way, unless he is too young and then a soda....

you know, you just can't capture the significant difference with an iphone or camera! but in person, the tires are huge! I don't know what it is, but seems like I can Bark these off the line better than my TA radials(darn 279 gears)! I just have to get out an look at them and go Wow! then look again, Wow! man, Wow! so forth etc, etc, etc! I think I'm going to go look at em again!

If you cannot find some guy to do the lifting, you could use your engine hoist to lift the tires and wheels onto the rack. Just pad the rims.

Gosh Pete, I sold that lift a long time ago~ I hated to sell it. but I do have a foldable ramp that may just work~ and I could roll em up. I have to get the OK from Gary to order the storage, been a little tight on money and just bought those tires~ darn, I can blink away money so darned quickly! I say we're tight, I can buy what I want, I just get a guilt trip when buying things these days!

We were actually looking at another possible project (will not be in as bad a shape as my Mustang!!)~ an early model truck, like a '50-'52 chevy or I have my eyes on a '55 chevy swb/6cyl/3 on the column), but it would be a daily driver, not go crazy with mods(AC of course), keep it simple and something to enjoy without fear of someone scratching/denting. Gary mentioned a few times about getting a storage for one of the classics and rotate driving them so they won't become fossilized! lol

Those wheels look awesome! I do love the old school look. I am glad they went to a great home! I know you'll enjoy them as much as I did.

Thanks ya'll! ok, I made a rack (could have bought one cheaper!), but I was determined! Gary wasn't home to help me get the Cragars/TA's up on my new tire rack, but brains over brawn

wins out over brute strength! I'll prbably put the Cragars back on soon and see how quickly I can do the change! Having the lift n all, should be able to do it within ~ 30 minutes? I can just lift the stang slightly off the ground with my Maxjax and do the switcheroo! Maybe switch in time for the Nifty50ee's this upcoming weekend!
