Wheel Dilemma with rear disks - Updated 3/8/11
« on: February, 21, 2011, 10:59:26 AM »
I have the all chrome version of the 68-69 GT (14X6) wheel.  Dallas Mustang used to sell a 15X8 version but they told me that they are discontinued.

I am wanting to add rear disks and have a set from a Lincoln, but they need a 15 inch wheel.  I do not want to replace all my wheels.  What options do I have?

Thanks, That is what I am looking for.

Now ya'll opinion!

15X7 with 4.25 backspacing or 15X8 with 4.5 backspacing?   Any fitment issues?

New 15X8 Wheels

New Falken - Z1EX-512 - 235X60X15 Tires They are a little softer than the Road Huggers I was running.  I have yet to stomp on it to try out the traction!

I think I would like to lower the stance a couple inches.  Just what I need is another project!

That is perfect for your car. So many subtle mods. The wheels are great, bigger and wider but still look factory, and I like the big n little front to back. SWEET. Lowering would be a nice touch. I love your car...

Thanks Sam
