is there as big a difference in quality of various leaf springs as there is in pricing?  i'm looking to replace my rear springs as i think one is sagging letting the left rear droop about 3/4" lower than the right (original springs). in looking around, laurel mtn. has a 4 leaf stock set priced at $109 per pair  & a local spring shop has a comparable set at $125 ea. i want to drop about 2" from stock & will probably have whatever i get dearched a little as i don't care for blocks. summit also has a lowering leaf spring (doesn't say how much drop) for $95 ea which would help get the drop started.  with none of the vendors i've looked at listing actual spring rates is there really that much difference in the quality based on price??

I would probably go with the local ones, they are more $$, but shipping the cheaper ones will eat your lunch. Check around, I think in the opentracker board there is a link to a mod you can do for lowering. You have to use some old leaf spring parts, but its pretty slick. I'll see if I can find a link.
