AODE swap into classic Mustang-shifter lever
« on: February, 02, 2010, 07:30:11 PM »
Alright, which way is the shifter lever suppose to be pointing, up or down, to work with my floor shifter?  I've seen all sorts of conflicting info all over the web about which way it is suppose to be.  Mine is currently pointing down.  Thanks in advance!

I think it needs to be facing up. I think my column shift AOD is facing down...or I could have it backwards myself. :lol

Somebody know for sure?

After doing some more reading I think that I need it facing up to use my stock shifter.  It can be used down if you use an aftermarket shifter.  If anyone knows otherwise let me know.  Thanks!
