t-5 swap w/ hyd clutch question
« on: January, 12, 2010, 11:58:26 PM »
for you guys with a t-5 & hydraulic clutch, did you still need the factory clutch pedal return spring? thats the last " puzzle piece" i don't have for my new pedal setup & was curious if it is needed w/ the hyd setup. thanks!

I am running a T5 with a hydraulic throwout bearing, I do not run the return spring.

I have mine setup with a cable clutch, took the spring off after it tried to kill me putting the pedal hanger in... seems to work fine

I think that I still have it in there, but the only reason is that I've been too lazy to crawl under the dash and take it out.  It's on the to do list for one of these days.

When using the newer pressure plate , you don't need the extra spring.IMHO.
