.....don't even comment about no pic. It will be here soon as I had no camera. What is it you ask........oh ya, my beat up old '66 was sitting right next to a 2010 Shelby (less than 200 miles) at a MECCA Car Wash and Cruise in today and I, yes, I won the only award....the Hooters Sponsors Choice Award. There were 30 or so cars of all types, from new Dodges to mid 50's Chevys. Kinda cool for sure. I really don't try to win these things either since I drive mine a lot and it has no garage. Oh, and I also won a Wing Fest for up to ten, or 100 wings.

Now, since it was a family event, the bikinis were not real skimpy, but good anyway. They took a shot of me, the car, and about 6 girls so when I get copy, you all will see it.

MECCA is Mopar Enthusiasts Car Club of America.

That makes two of these Sponsor Awards the old school crate has pulled, this one plus one last May.. Guess I better give up on the idea of to many changes......lol

I was not even going to go today due to the grandkids needing run around town before school starts. My wife said I should go and she would manage the kids. Also, around here, bikinis are so common, a few at a car wash hardly even gets a horn honked from passer bys. That is why I did not even think of taking a camera. Getting old I guess........ Wife says she is going next time. I will let her run the camera.

Oh well, another rough day in retirement.............

Somewhere on a Shelby forum right now, someone is ranting about how stupid people are for voting for an old car when he spent all that money on his new over-priced car.
