Video Embed

Im just curious if it is possible to embed a video, or do you need special powers to do that here?  If its possible, maybe a tutorial would be nice.

i mean so the picture is on the screen with in the post, and all you have to do is click on it to get it to start.  If  i just put [ url ]  [ /url ] it makes you click on it, and chose open or save.   Im looking for more of a direct link.

Updting this thread to point out that when you embed video from a site like PhotoBucket, make sure there is some "Text" to your URL link.  Not doing so will make the link disappear anytime videoEmbedding is turned off.

in other words, when video embedding is turned on, the following would work:

{url=http://somevideo/video.flv}{/url}
(curly brackets should be square brackets, but if I use squarebrackets here, then it turns into a real link, so I'm using curlies for explanatory purposes)

But now that video embed is off for a while, that link would disappear.  To make it work, try something like this:

{url=http://somvideo/video.flv}Video Link{/url}

Then when video embed is turned off, it shows up as a Link.

Thanks,

Steven

That's too much work for me to do, just fix the site and stop bugging us.
