Leaded in. Me like!

Why did ford lead these areas from the factory?

Is there any added benefit to leading them up today vs welding in a filler panel?

Made a trip out to Indiana to get some more progress on getting her rolling to ship home.

She finally looks somewhat like a car again.

New front suspension added with OT roller perches. Strut rods and sway bar are coming soon. Front end is from Dynacorn and the strut rod pockets needed some “massaging” first. They’ll go on probably Friday.

Hung the new mid-eye leaf springs in anticipation of the rear end coming real soon. Not done at powder coater yet.

Found all my old parts and collected them for transport back home in the car. Overall, really good progress for two days. Steering and brakes are on their way and will be installed shortly. 5.0 block is prepped for 347 goodies and will be strapped to the car when it comes back. Looking forward to having her back in my hands again.

Good news Chris! It has been a long time coming to get to this point!

It sure has been. Far too long. Once it gets back home there will likely be more movement because I’ll be more in control of the progress.

Before welding. Strut rods used to locate the pockets beforehand.

Slick. Still think those are the best option out there. When installed they look like factory stock.

Good looking part for sure. That's why I went with them. Decent price point too. Just about $200 including shipping from Summit.

Where did you get the axel housing? How do you plug the drain hole?

It’s a 9” from Currie. Im not sure what they used to plug the hole. Dave disassembled it and sent it off to his local guy.
