Loss of a Mentor

On Oct 12, one of my career mentors succumbed to complications from Prostate cancer. He was one of my first Department Managers at Hughes Aircraft Company. He was a great teacher, and inspired me to make my career what it has become. He was always friendly and most of the time wore a smile (I got to see the other side of him a couple of times, but those teaching moments made me stronger).

Services will be tomorrow and I know that there will be a lot of people I have not seen in years.

Ted, RIP

How do they say it ? Time to reflect life ?
As you get older , you make more time to look back and see what life has brought to you and to people who ment something to you
(sorry for my bad english but I know you get my drift )

Btw at what age did he passed away ?

76. Apparently the Prostate cancer metastasized to his liver.

You are absolutely right. Good Timing in that I got to share some of his life and learn from him.

76 is still too young.
My dad passed away at the age of 73 due to Alzheimer.
Both illnesses aren't faire to die from.
I hope it gives you a smile every time you are thinking of him.

I am hoping to be a prostate cancer survivor. December was my last treatment. Bloodwork this December will tell the story. Sorry for the loss of your friend.

Fabulous Memorial service today.

Tim, we are thinking of you. Keep the faith even if you don't have the ears, I know you can do it.{.}

Steve...God gave us 2 hands..one to give...one to take. Your Mentor used
both and you should be proud you were on the receiving end (Toni)
