Mercury Bobcat wagon

those are cool ideas!
and I wish ours had the front clip like that orange one. better looking in my opinion

Last time I was at Dad's house, I neglected to take a picture of the front end of the 2dr at Dad's house. I can't even say for certain if it is a Pinto or a Bobcat...

I was there to 'take inventory' of the 2.3L transmissions that he had around the farm. This one had an automatic.

I read your other thread about bad neighbors, luckily both myself and Dad live in the country.
Dad's house from google maps.. 15.5 acres of cars, trucks, and other misc stuff.

Straight north of the barn (top of pic) there are 2 white cars and a blue one, they are all by themselves, that is a '66 F100 (left), a 72 Grand Torino 4dr (middle), 1975 MustangII (right).

I am working on acquiring the M2 for the drivetrain (2.3L/4spd). If I get it and if you decide to go with a Man pedal (4 or 5speed) I would be able to pull the pedals for you, I have no use for them.

It doesn't have a title.
I'm working on fixing that.
NDDOT does not make it easy to get one.
But I'm working on it.

But back to the wagon, my next older brother bought one a long time ago with a 351w/c4 installed in it. He pulled the drivetrain and scrapped it.

Cool!!!
I wish I had a place like you guys!
I have got rid of so much stuff because I have no place for it. If I had land I would be hoarding all kinds of cars!

We've got 1 of each.
And a 75 Grant Torino Elite (351w/auto)
And a 75 Granada (302/c4)
In the barn there are 2 more M2's

A 74 that has a swapped in 2.8/4speed
And a 75? Factory 302/auto

I'm pretty certain my dads middle name is "how much for that..."

we threw all the parts on the engine today just to make sure we had everything before we pull it. In case we needed to hunt for parts. Looks like we got most of it

I'd love that but it would cost me a fortune to drive up to Mankato!

I did get the old 2.3 out tonight. I will tear it down tomorrow. My son had to work tonight but we will work on it together tomorrow

This week we dropped the block, pistons & rods off at the machine shop to get boiled, bored and new pistons pressed on the rods.
Dropped the tank today. I think it will clean up...

we will have the machine shop do a valve job on the head too and my son ordered a header from speedway motors. We are going to pull the trans next. During the week I have to go to NY so he is going to replace the brake shoes/pads, etc.

yes, it would be quite a sleeper!

and yeah I better go have a talk with his girlfriends dad I guess! So far he has been driving my 72 Chevy pickup which is pretty safe looking I guess...

Yeah, a bench seat in an old truck........that's a LOT of room!

I didn't get time to look for or get the hood latch parts.
I haven't gotten, I'll try harder next time...
