1967 Build called Electra

yeah man, ive had my eye on those since i got my car. I need to get all this suspension stuff done so i can take it to get aligned and put them on

Well here is were not knowing these cars enough hurts. I installed the LCA on the drivers side and had to drill out the strut rod holes to fit the strut rod. Just thought it was an aftermarket universal fit type issue. Well turns out the driver side had a 68 LCA and a 68 Strut rod...UGH

Im not sure if im going to keep it this way or go buy a 67 strut rod...

Damn! It's always something, isn't it? But hey, at least when it's done, you'll know that every part is what it should be.

it might be better to switch the 67 out to a 68. The 67's were a one year only where the 69 was used into 70.

Its been a while since i updated this thread. Ive actually moved to Columbia TN and now have a 4 car garage at my new place.

Ive started installing the interior, working on the gauges, replaced sending units, installed tie rods, idler arm, and am about ready to start on the disc front brakes. I also need to test out the electronic speedo and get it calibrated

Spent all day working on my mustang disc conversion and found out the following.

-I have Granda Spindles
-I need diff bearings for such A12 and A13(Used the drums bearings to fit the driver side since they were good)
-I need diff tie rod ends now or adapters for them.
-The Pass side drum is being a pain in my butt and is still on

DAMN THIS FRANKENSTEINED CAR!!!!!

Well my new bearings showed up from rock Auto last night so I pulled the Race's out of the Hub, put the new ones in, and have it ready to be greased and put on the passenger side. Once im finished with that ill have to take the other side back apart and put the new bearings in it as well.
