Fuel cell venting

What has anyone done for the plumbing on this for their car? Do I need a vapor canister or just send it out the car?

If you are going "green" , use a vapor canister. Thats the least thing you can do.

I don't think it matters unless you get rid of the venting gas cap- don't most of the early Stangs have them?

You have a point here.
I think it takes a small modification to the cars fuel system to achieve this.

On another forum (69Stang) a group of us are going to do a group buy of an EFI system, which requires a high pressure fuel system. We are venting to atmosphere but have added a TPV valve for rollover protection. Many of us have elected to go with new tanks (since ours are aging) and use in-tank pumps. The favorite tank is TanksInc. It's pump has an three fittings: output, return and vent. On the vent side we intend to use a two way valve that is normally closed but opens at 0.0725psi to let air into the tank or at 0.725psi to let air out. It is a Newton TPV valve. They say to do the following:
The TPV can be positioned lower than the fuel inlet hose, but you will need to connect a hose onto the outlet end of the TPV and run this up as high as possible, along the roll cage (or inner roof of the car) and then terminate the hose outside of the car (usually within a wheel arch), but lower than the fuel tank. In the event of a rollover, the TPV should seal off, but just in case of an unexpected failure, having a hose lower than the fuel tank will ensure no fuel spillage.
In this installation you get double rollover protection from the valve and the high loop, but they don't mention putting anything on the end of the vent tube but the post directly above mentioned "iimuch.com...." which has a neat little filter to go onto the end:
Bulkhead Fitting, 9/16-18 -6 ORB Female to -6 ORB Female
$34.99 for fitting and filter

I went with a fuel filter and tubing. I have to vent it out but need something to stop any moisture from traveling back to the tank.

Worst part was loosing the drain plug on the tank and having half my body covered with fuel calling my friend for help and having the fuel make my skin feel funny
