RAIN GUTTER

B67FSTB

The NorCal dude from Belgium
Anybody aware if they reproduce the rain gutter/channel below the rear deck panel on a 65-68 vert ?

I have looked into the dynacorn catalog but nothing.

I also contacted NPD with the question what the difference is between the full floors they sell " US-made" and the one they call "imported"
Till now they gave me a vage answer.
I know this is an old topic discussed on numerous forums but still. Somebody has to know exactly who makes what and where. Dynacorn , Goodmark , Apex ..........
B.

My experience with NPD (as well as several other vendors), has been any reference stating "USA" or "Canadian" in conjection with sheet metal has meant thicker metal. I know this has proven true specifically for any floor pan pieces I've ordered. I have ordered full length pans and partial pans from them but not a one piece full floor.

Bruno is this the piece you're looking for?

If so, I guess the answer to your question would be yes! ;)

No , it isn't that panel.
Its a U-shape profile that sits beneath that panel you showed.
It collects water that find its way down between the rear window and deck panel (deck panel is the panel between the trunklid and rear window.

Phew! I ended up having to pull out my assembly manuals to figure out what in the world you were referring to Bruno! Ford refers to it as the "rail assemby-belt center". While I'm sure Dynacorn is producing it for their body shell, I haven't seen it listed ANYWHERE for sale as an individual piece. I've seen the same thing with some of their fastback specific pieces. You know they're being made, just not for individual sale! Grrrrrrr.

Thanks , and you are right.
They are made but I can't find it anyway.
Weird!?

Bruno keep your fingers crossed. While I was at work today (working hard mind, NOT screwing around....I wouldn't do that! haha), I came across a possible source for you. I wasn't looking for it, but when I ran across this company I thought about your search:
http://pgcbi.com/

You might try contacting them. They offer complete bodies like Dynacorn does. Their website also mentions "parts" though. Just maybe???

Thanks John.
I will look into that !!

Meanwhile I was searching the net and also wrote a email to NPD and asked them what the difference was between the full floor pans they offered at the price of $360 and at $680.
I got a vage answer and after some percevation from my side , he told me that the US-made is 20 gauge thick wether the imported ones are 21 gauge thick.
He didn't name brands , only Taiwan made.
As far as I know , Dynacorn is Taiwan made . IIRC there is Goodmark and Apex , and I think they are the same as dynacorn. It wouldn't surprise me that they are made at the same plant.
US-made full floor are manufactured by this company in the states : http://www.experi-metal.com/products/aftermarket/
Dealers are : https://www.shermanparts.com/ecat/base/index.php
http://carsinc.com/
http://www.danchuk.com/

I don't know why NPD makes a mistery out of this.

Any comments on this are welcome.

Having had several pieces that were originally available only as imported (e.g. thinner), then later obtaining a domestically produced version after it/they became available, the difference was significant and very obvious!
