Soo I'm planning to buy a disc brake setup this week for my 69 coupe and I was set to buy the 4 piston setup from csrp or Kentucky mustangs but I remembered that when I bought my stang... 8 or so years ago I bought a set of (i think) mach one calipers.. I have to find them but they are huge single piston monsters... So the question is should i sell the single pistons or piece together a kit to use them

The 4 piston setup is the best, but, unless you are planning to track the car, probably a little overkill for a cruiser. When I converted mine from drums to front discs I used a set out of a '72 Mustang because of the heavier spindles on the '70-'73 cars. Still single piston but that was all I needed for my intended purpose. BTW, the '68 and '69 front discs are the same units IIRC. The 4 piston calipers were a feature of earlier GT models.
