Broken Chevy Pick-up

I know this is a Mustang site but I felt the need to share anyway...
My 72 Chevy broke the rear axle. More specifically the pin for the spider gears was worn really really bad and broke. Of course it broke while driving so the parts flying around in there caused even more damage. So needless to say I needed a new axle. I found one in Western KY about a two hour drive away for $125. I put new brakes and wheel cylinders on it. The drums were replaced already so I reused those. Actually, it was a great learning oportunity for my son too.

Looks like a fun job and great learning experience.

From infinity and beyond.

Never argue with a Moron, they'll just drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.

If the women don't find you handsome, they should at least find you handy.

Should have called me. I probably could have got you one for 1/2 that. You know I live in chevy country.
