Hey guys,
Just a quick intro from grey haired, long time Mustang fanatic in Kentucky. Currently in restomod process of 65 Fastback GT. Currently have it stripped down, and various new parts installed, lot more work to go.
NEW: Radiator support, front frame rail patch, battery apron, front torque boxes, firewall, cowl assembly, cowl ends, rear frame extension, trunk floor.
STILL TO COME: other trunk floor, new quarters, new tail light panel and all pieces connected
MODS: shock towers removed for R&C suspension for Coyote and T56 transplant, slightly modified rear wheel wells, T5 IRS
Yeah, it was a good candidate for concourse restoration but I have owned this car for almost 40 years and want to drive it again: drive it hard and drive it every day.

Sounds like a solid plan to me!

Welcome to the Fix. Start a build thread and keep us updated. We love pics!

So this car is going to be slightly modified, eh? *G*

Welcome to our little "funny farm".

Where in Central KY?
I am in Russellville, West of Bowling Green and Bill is over near Somerset. We got a couple two tree guys in Nashville area and one in Clarksville when he is not over Korea.
Welcome and cool project.

Hey Graig, I had seen the pictures of your car...NICE
Never been down to Somernites, heard a lot about it and lot of friends go but I just never had anything cruise in with...ha ha. Mustang hasn't been on the road for years. I may try to take the F150 down this year...OR due to a variety of circumstances I also have a brand X two seater I may drive down there. The Mustang is still several years away from completion.
