128th Semi-Annual StangFix Knotts Weekend 2015

I might meet up with you guys on friday at outback. But not sure. Donut derelics is a blast if you can make it, and its right near my house!

Awesome!! Thanks a ton :) I'm staying at the Knotts Hotel actually, didn't know about the Courtyard until I found this thread. The Knotts Hotel was $40 cheaper per night though which helps me out on the budget I'm on. Gotta spend the rest on gas to get from Colorado and back!

Unless they have changde which I doubt, but Knotts Hotel charges for parking....even guests (paying customers). We tried it there for a couple years but charging for parking got old. Courtyard is better parking wise but there's no more free breakfast. We just like the center courtyard for our group evenings (drinking).

Boo! What a bummer on the parking deal.

Surprising that the Courtyard doesn't offer free breakfast - usually all of the Mariotts do!

They know Mike's coming. Batten down the hatches and the buffets!

By the way, is it too early to start talking trash about SAC69 staying home?

Parking may be charged for, but they segregate the parking for those in the show...
Its kind of fun roaming the back parking lot the night before the show... Almost a show before the show environment with everyone out back prepping/ detailing before the big show on Sunday...

Hi guys,

Just registered here as Jeff sent me over to this thread! I met some of you last summer when I was coming through California (I was the chick with the blue '66 fastback on the insane road trip). Anyways, I was wondering if you would mind terribly if I tagged along to Outback on Friday... if it's okay, put me in for just one person please :)

Kelly

We also have a "Don't want to leave" dinner on Sunday night at 6pm at a local Italian restaurant. Just let me know before then if you'd like to attend and I can adjust the reservation.

No...go ahead and trash all who aren't attending:rolleyes:;)
Yeah, you guys have fun down there in the land of.......(never mind). That Friday I'm Salmon fishing and Sunday my kids are taking me to a Giants baseball game. No car meet can beat that.

Got my Knotts Reg the other day.:D

I really enjoy meeting up and driving down there. Also that first dinner at Outback meeting up after....two years now will be great.:)

I wish I could join you on the drive down.....but the Mustang will be in the trailer. I am looking forward to joining up with everyone at the Outback.

Maybe we should PM a few cell phone numbers around. Considering I will be traveling behind you guys with a truck, trailer and a load of tools and spare parts!

Mine: 408-607-0697
If you read the itinerary you know where we will be stopping.

Is anyone coming in from east of CA? Just curious - I'd really like to have a few contacts in New Mexico and Arizona in case anything happens to me while I'm headed out there! I'm coming from rural central Colorado.

I got my registration packet yesterday! Super excited, drove a half mile from the mailbox towards my house, and the car died. Just totally dead - no start, no crank, no lights, no hazards, nothin! Figured out it was a loose connector in the AAW fusible link, which should be fixed before I head to Knott's... hopefully... anyways the car works for now at least! :D

You be careful on your trip. I know you are experienced but springtime crossing the mountains isn't easy sometimes.
