turn signals cancel too early

Ok replaced turn signal switch with Scott Drake switch, turn signals work fine but when taking a left or right turn they cancel, I switched the turn cam to the other side of the wheel and they cancel a little later but still while making the turn. Got to have something wrong, any ideals?

There's usually two pins or a canceling ring on the back of the steering wheel. Make sure they are centered and if that doesn't do it, switch them 180* to the other side of the steering wheel.

Midlife, that's what I did I moved it to the other side, ow they cancel a little later. Shouldn't the steering wheel go all the way through the turn then the signal cancel when the wheel straightens up? Mine cancels when you make the turn.

How many degrees are you turning the wheel while making the turn? If it is more than about 270*, I believe it will cancel early. Just a feature...

With the cancellation ring on the left side of the wheel when installed it canceled when the wheel was turned about a 1/8th of a turn of the wheel, now that I moved it to the other side it cancels when I turn the wheel a little over a 1/4 turn. The signal never stays on during the turn and then cancels when the wheel straightens out
