Careful buying a 66 Mustang off of craigslist

Anybody know the motivation behind this crime ??
Sad to hear about that older couple .

I'm thinking they went to buy this car with a pocketful of cash and were robbed and killed for the money

That's pretty much it. Looks like they were both shot in the head and robbed. They have the guy in custody now.

Thats the kind of world we have to deal with this day and age, think of the shady stuff we dont hear about, monsters lurking and looking for an easy opportunity, and we dont get to run him over in a 66 either??

I remember when I bought my car for $10k cash, could have gone bad and I thought I was being careful.

I have carried large cash to a number of car purchases all over the place. Never worried about things then....now one needs an armed guard to buy a junker. The world around us sucks in many ways....to bad.

When I first began my career as a public servant~22 years ago I really never thought about owning a gun nor carrying it in a concealed manner. Coming from Detroit, the Seattle area is certainly not the same but things began to change around 7-10 years ago. There are certain malls I go to, refuse to let my family enter unless I go along and yes I'm packing. I wouldn't buy anything that is not in a public arena now. More nuts out there than a costco size jar of planters!
