Buying a grill but can't figure on the size I want

Welded up the box, ran out of wire and my ratcheting wheel for the lift was too hard for my drill bits to open up to 1" but it should be done today.

I'm hoping to get my bbq sign and my mustang sign today or some time this week.

you might have a copyright infringement on the Grumpy D's sign.. nice.

Finished painted the bbq sign, cut all the steel and stainless except for the two pieces I'm missing for the cutting board side ends. Welding wire and tips come tomorrow and porcelain paint was suppose to come Friday but the snow in the Midwest delayed it unless Tuesday. Hoping to have it done in two weeks minus the granite cutting boards

A couple more shots from today's work. Finished welding the box, making the bottom section and the obvious test fit. I need to pick up another woven section for the bottom, cut a hole in the box to drop the ash and weld in the side sections.

Time to grind and sand 'cause I'm done with my Q. I'd share but my files apparently are too big... Story of my life

Jdfabrications did both signs. I was going to have him make the grill but with communication issues developing - mainly emailing changes - I just ask for the signs. I think his wife took over the Internet stuff and that's when it went weird.

Thanks for the compliment. I love how it turned out. It was the most enjoyable week I've had off ever.

The grill is done. I located a local shop to help me with the granite using a section of scrap for the cutting boards, taking the fire pit and bbq to my powdercoater to cooking the extreme high temp coating on, and the finish product will be ready soon.

So I haven't forgotten about this one. The guy who's my buddy is helping me with the granite is waiting for someone to have a small section left over for me to use.
The cover is a different story. I'm picking up the mock up in about 30 minutes then dropping it off to him in the morning to him to work on it during his off time
I picked up my lump coal charcoal and 1 cord of red oak. Get this it is all cut into 4"x4" 16" lengths. Somehow this guy gets it in the dimensions in a train car. He buys the end pieces and sold it to me for 250/cord
