The Fairlane ad says California black plate car. They're black plates all right, but not California!

Those black plates are infact dark blue and are dutch plates.
Yep , those wheels are too big.

I'm with ya on the wheel size. I've got 16s on my fairlane, and they look ok. I like a higher tire to wheel ratio.

I regret to have 17" wheel on my fastback.
16" wheels was a better choice.

I might have to find different wheels for it though. The 05 mustang wheels on it now are way too close to hitting the upper control arm, even with an 1in(I think) spacer.

Whats too close ? How much .
It can't hurt that they are so close to the UCA.
Nothing moves ( tire or UCA ) during driving , cornering or ac- and de-accelerathing.
Offset of the front wheels should be very close to fab specs.!!!

So close I can't get my pinky finger between the uca and wheel. Doesn't rub or hit anywhere. I could just be paranoid.

Just check it out on a regular base but from what I know, it is just fine.
