Trying to source an electrical bulkhead fitting

Horseplay

I Don't Care. Do you?

Like many, I am doing a full custom rewire of my car with the intent to incorporate lots of new power features along with modernization of many fittings and connections. I am also hiding all the wiring from sight. One thing I have yet to find/decide on is a bulkhead fitting I can mount behind the kick panel into which I can plug a harness that will feed the front end (headlights, horn, electric fan, etc.).

I would prefer to keep the control relays in the car but the amperage draw on the fan might be too great to run an adequate wire size through a bulkhead pin connection.

Anyone have suggestions?

You can also look on DigiKey under the Amphenol brand. They offer aircraft grade bulkhead connectors with a variety of mounting styles, pin arrangements and sizes. Amphenol connectors can come with crimp style or solder style pins. They're not cheap, but you'll likely never have an issues with them either.

How about one of these? At

Terry. Did you find a connector to use? I will needing one soon.
I didn't buy any yet but will be using something from the Amphenol line. I put that part of my wiring on the back burner for now as I finish up some other stuff. Want to get the drive train in before it gets too cold!

Too Cold?? That doesn't happen here in San Francisco. :)
