Site issues

I've tried both reply buttons with no luck. All I get is the subject line and message icon selection at the top. At the bottom I get the "Attachments and other options area with three selection boxes. Below that is the "Attach:" and browse button. Nothing else!

Even after doing a preview I get the same stuff (or the same lack of stuff!). I'm lost!!

I'm using Firefox, and have been using with no site problems for a number of years now. Would it be safe to assume that the Concours Forum using the same site configuration, set up, etc.. since it's a "sister" site? The reason I ask is because, as I said earlier, everything works fine there. The smileys just simply disappeared several weeks ago and there was no browser update. That's what has me so baffled! :(

YEAHHHH!!!!! I finally got it! It wasn't a site or browser issue (per se), it was a script blocker that had somehow added the site. My smileys are back. Sorry for the trouble, but thanks mucho guys for trying to help me fix it!

Well great now tell us where you found it at? I keep having issues with Firefox and Chrome, either when I post takes me to the forum the original post was in, not back to the unread list.

Good to hear you got it.

To answer your question, the two sites share the software in common and are set up similarly. Outside of that, the are completely separate entities each on different servers and with it's own database. They are totally different as far as directory structure.

My problem was from a browser add on called "Script Blocker". Somehow it got activated for this site and was causing the mess.

You know since the move my avatar had to be changed and I just can't get it to look right and my sig pic had to go since I don't have a host website anymore. I guess that is an easy fix, just upload it here and bam fixed. The avatar though is not square and this system will not let me use a rectangle sized image. My license plate "2-the-Bar" just doesn't look right in a square and I am not talented enough to fix it in paint of photoshop.

Sigh, I guess I will have to find a new avatar.

Question:
Maybe I'm not seeing it, but is there a button to "make read a forum" when you're in a particular forum or all of the forums when you're in the main index?

Is there a way to block out or minimize major sections such as shoutbox or vendors, etc if one never goes into those areas?

OK I have a weird one.

Every time someone quotes another member, the quoted area shows my avatar no matter who is being quoted.
